Welcome to our cat breeding web site, WITTORYO SUN. In our cattery we breed British shorthair cats. My name is Julia Jeremejeva and I developed a serious interest in these amazing cats whilst working as a vet. Our cattery has been registered in the FIFE (La Fédération Internationale Féline) system since 2015 and belongs to the Estonian Cat-Breeding Association FELIX.
The British shorthair cats, that we deal with, are the dearest, warmest and most friendly of cats. British cats are large, healthy and very sociable favourite pets. They have the characteristic round and captivating Cheshire face. British cats belong to one of the most natural breeds of cat. These cats are aristocratic, resilient, very contact-seeking, friendly and affectionate. They get on well with all family members and adore their master or mistress devotedly. A British cat may follow its owner from room to room, waiting for him to sit down and allow her a place beside him. British shorthair cats love children very much and get on well with other animals, including even dogs. They are very patient and permit almost anything to be done to them, which does not impinge on their dignity. Although this certainly does not mean that you could call them characterless stuffed toys. British shorthair cats are also well-suited to people who spend a lot of time working. It is no coincidence that these cats are often called „businessmen’s cats.“
In our cattery we specialise in breeding cats of solid colours (one-coloured), such as blue and lillac, with brightly coloured sun-coloured eyes and silver shaded (in folk tongue chinchilla) silver-coloured cats with emerald-coloured eyes. Our kittens are raised in the laps of our children and, growing up in a vet family, they have a strong constitution and character. All of our cats have been tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), FELV (feline leukemia virus), CoV (coronavirus), PKD (polycystic kidney disease) and HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), thus guaranteeing that our kittens are born healthy. Our kittens do not join their new owners until they are 12 weeks old. Our kittens are wormed and have been vaccinated against basic diseases (panleukopemia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies), they are microchipped and come with all necessary documents. In cases where the kitten goes to another country, it is not released until it is 4 months old. The kittens are vaccinated and microchipped in our home. This helps reduce the risk of them contracting contagious diseases, as compared to vaccinating them in a veterinary surgery.
Our adorable kittens gladden the hearts of loving families in a variety of countries and win great prizes in cat shows. Our goal is to breed healthy, harmonious British short-haired cats with excellent colour-types and superb characters.
